Revised Schedule For The 2021 Sin City Showdown Sept 9-10 Las Vegas Nevada

Due to a lack of players, Legion/Lake has withdrawn from the Men's Division.   

As of today (8/23/21) masks must be worn upon entry to the arena, and in all common areas. They ARE NOT required while on the ice.

*All games will be played under USA Broomball rules 

*As all teams are advancing in co-rec, ties will stand in pool play.  

* With the new men's format, overtime WILL BE PLAYED in pool play (4v4, no goaltender). 1 point will be awarded for an OT loss 

*ANY playoff game ending in a tie will play 4v4 no goaltender (co-rec = 2 male, 2 female) 15 minute sudden death periods until a goal is scored.    

Teams will be seeded based on total points using the following criteria.  

11 point max per game 

6 points for a win 

2 points for a tie (Co-Rec Only) 

1 point for a goal (max 4 per game) 

1 point for a shutout     

Co-Rec Tiebreak 

Teams tied in total points will be seeded according to result of head to game. 

If head to head game ended in a tie, or teams did not play head to head the following criteria shall be used to break the tie. 

A. Most wins 

B. Best goal differential 

C. Least goals allowed 

D. Most goals scored 

E. Draw cards   

Men Tiebreak 

2-way = Head to Head result   

3 way tie 

A. Best goal differential in games between tied teams 

B. Least goals allowed in games between tied teams 

C. Most goals scored in games between tied teams 

D. Best goal differential in all games 

E. Least goals allowed in all games 

F. Most goals scored in all games   

Note - At whichever step the 3-way tie is broken, revert to the head to result between the remaining two tied teams for seeding placement.   

Running time will ensue at point the goal differential reaches 4. There is no mercy rule.
